I’m excited to share a Excel utility I developed to simplify and speed up GST data reconciliation. This macro-enabled tool comes with 7 smart functions to handle different levels of data matching challenges commonly faced during GST reconciliations:
Exact Match – Matches Invoice Number, GSTIN, Taxable Value & Tax
Tax Match Function – Focuses on matching GSTIN, Taxable Value, and Tax
Match with Multiple Invoice Numbers – Identifies and handles cases where one invoice number appears across multiple rows
Party-Wise Match – Summarizes and matches values GSTIN-wise
Weak Match – Matches only based on Invoice Number
Too Weak Match – Matches based on Taxable Amount and Tax only
